How big before I need building permits.

Hi Bruce,

This is a great question! In the counties I live in here in Ohio, they will tell you that you need permits for any size wooden shed.

They want to make sure you don't violate any building ordinances such as incroaching on county right of ways for property access to telephone poles, power poles and the like.

In your county, you need to call the building inspectors office or give them a visit and while you are there asking about the permit, you can probably get other valuable information about anchoring your shed and so forth.
